Dr. Ricardo E. Buitrago R., currently an Associate Research Professor at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, has a distinguished career in international strategy and management.
Before joining EGADE, he served in leadership positions at Colombian universities and as a visiting professor in Latin America. He is President-Elect of the Business Association for Latin American Studies (BALAS) and Executive Director of the Emerging Multinationals Research Network (EMRN), also engaging with the Academy of International Business (AIB) and IE-Scholars as an ambassador.
His academic contributions, bridging international political economy with strategic management, are backed by his dual PhDs in System Dynamics and Public Policy, a master's in International Relations, and a specialization in International Business Management, alongside practical experience in the banking sector and consulting.

Dr. Rafael Palacios is a professor and researcher at the Faculty of International Business and Management of the Berlin & Law School Berlin and coordinates the international academic-entrepreneurial business platform IELSM (International Entrepreneurship Lab Smart Money) for the acceleration and internationalization of digital entrepreneurial ecosystems. He has more than 15 years of professional experience in innovation management in companies, universities, research centers and governmental institutions both in Europe and Latin America.
His current research topics are international business in digital transformation and international entrepreneurship ecosystems. His most recent research of this 2024 are: 1) Social Capital Management in the Context of Digital Entrepreneurship Ecosystem (2024), 2) New competencies in the artificial intelligence sector and their effect on economic and geographical transformation in Mexico (2024) and 3) Radical Change and dominant characterof digital transformation in artificial inteligence entrepreneurship in less innovative economies (2023).
